Good afternoon,
my issue is that when I try to export a selection 3D drawing as a JPG (with the command JPGOUT) I just obtain a blank file.
The same happen when I try to export the selection as a BMP.
Best,
Gianluca

Hi @gianluca.rizziBEA9N ,
I cannot reproduce this problem when I use JPGOUT from Model Space.
Are you trying to use JPGOUT from Model or from Layout?
Can you share your drawing here?

Gianluca,
If you need to create raster image of the drawing from the Layout, you can use Preview button in the Plot window (PLOT command) to open PDF in the Preview app. Then you can export the resulting PDF to JPG file in the Preview app.

Hi Maxim,
thank you for the help.
I just select the parts that I want to export (all of them in this case) and type JPGOUT in the command bar: the jpg is blank and always 19 KB.
I wanted the shaded with edges visual style.
Attached you can find the dwg file.

Hi Gianluca,
It appears you have AutoCAD 2023 for Mac, and you have "Shaded with edges" Visual Style enabled.
If yes, then try to turn off FASTSHADEDMODE:
Command: FASTSHADEDMODE
Enter new value for FASTSHADEDMODE <ON>: off
Command:
Now JPGOUT should work - see attached JPG
EDIT:
If you leave FASTSHADEMODE=ON, you can use PLOT command ->Preview and save PDF opened in Preview app as JPG

Hi Maxim,
thank you very much, you solved 99% of my problems.
The last detail is that when I switch off the FASTSHADEDMODE, the background turns dark even if in the setting I chose it to be white.
Is it unavoidable or I am missing again some options?
Thanks again!

This is another reason to use "Preview" in Plot window to create JPG image instead of using JPGOUT command.
When you turn off FASTSHADEDMODE, the background color of Perspective projection returns to default values (Sky and Horizon colors) and they are quite difficult to change in AutoCAD for Mac, because there is no such customization in AutoCAD for Mac.

If desired, select an object to export.
Choose File > Export.
Specify a location and a filename.
For Save As Type (Windows) or Format (Mac OS), choose JPEG, and click Save.
In the Export section, do one of the following:

In this case, the problem was that AutoCAD cannot export the drawing to jpg when the FASTSHADEMODE is active in the viewport.
