autocad for mac scaling problem

Hi all,

I'm very new to autocad (using autocad mac 2023), having some trouble scaling - I think the trouble is probably with my units (mm) somewhere but I can't figure out where. I am drawing floor plans at 1:1 in model space for a 10m x 8m space, trying to scale at 1:50 to fit on 11"x17" sheet. I can see them on the sheet in the viewport layout at a default custom scale which is 0.000502, obviously they disappear at 1:50.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here - my units look right but I suspect they are not. Attaching file here! Thanks for your help!

Why is your door 75-feet wide? your units appear to be set to inches too

You are not drafting at 1:1 scale, a CAD requirement: this is not paper drafting.

Thanks, as mentioned, having trouble with units, I was intending to work in mm, which would make the work at a 1:1 scale. On my end, my preferences are set to mm as unit, and in the unit command they are also set to mm. I can't figure out why it is not in mm. 

However, I was able to solve my problem by cutting and pasting onto an iso template, so while this is still a mystery to me, the problem is solved.

@nilsen.ida That's a good fix: it appears you may have started in a non-ISO template file set up for "architextural units". FWIW 75-feet is also 900-inches, you most likely intended a 900mm door width, so I can see how that got away from you easily.

Solution:
Decrease the text display scale on the system or increase the screen resolution.
To decrease display scale:
Windows 10:
Right-click the desktop and choose Display Settings.
Click the menu under "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" and select a lower percentage.
Click the "Sign out now" link if presented with it.
Windows 7:
Right-click the desktop and choose Screen Resolution.
Click "Make text and other items larger or smaller."
Select "Smaller - 100%" (or maybe "Medium - 125%").
Click Apply.
To increase screen resolution:
Windows 10:
Right-click the desktop and choose Display Settings.
Click the menu under "Resolution" and select a lower setting.
Windows 7:
Right-click the desktop and choose Screen Resolution.
Change the Resolution menu to a lower setting.
Click Apply.
