I am about to purchase a new computer which will be running AutoCad Lt for Mac 2022 or later. I am upgrading from a 2015 Macbook Pro 13 inch core i5 8Gb running Monterey 12.4 and trying to decide between the iMac 24 inch M1 chip 16 Gb 1 tb storage and the Mac Studio M1 Max chip, 32 gb 1 tb storage. the iMac 24 is double the RAM i am currently working with and of course a much bigger screen which was the main reason for this upgrade to start with.
Is the Mac Studio overkill for Autocad Lt? would be fine with the iMac 24 if it came with more RAM but 16 gb is the most available. the Mac Studio requires additional monitor keyboard etc. so ends up costing a good bit more.
Thank you for any advice!

Hi @mjhabig ,
iMac 24 M1 with 16 Gb RAM is quite enough to use AutoCAD LT for Mac.

thank you! unfortunately iMac no longer comes in a 27 inch screen which may be a deal breaker... may look at iMac 27 inch from 2019 - 2021.
