WHEN ZOOMING IN/OUT LINEWEIGHT IS NOT VISIBLE ALL LINES ARE THE SAME

Hallo,

I work with visible Lineweight .When I zoom in/out all the lines become thin and when I leave the zoom command the lines appear with their Lineweight , wich is very annoying and I can't work, is there any possible solution ,,,,?

I am on macOS Monterey 12.0.1

3,1 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5

8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB

running Autocad 2019

Hi @nikosnikolopoulos.arch ,

This is standard behaviour in AutoCAD for Mac.

There is no workaround other than turning off lineweight visibility.

Ups....! that's a small disaster... In case I make partition with windows in my Mac and I run Autocad from windows ,would I have the same problem...?

Thanks!

I suspect this from HELP may explain your issue better if you make the switch to Windows AutoCAD, see #2 vs #3:

Display Lineweights
1) Lineweights can be turned on and off in a drawing, and are displayed differently in model space than in a paper space layout.
2) In model space, a lineweight of 0 is displayed as one pixel wide, and other lineweights use a proportional pixel width. Lineweight display in model space does not change with the zoom factor. For example, a lineweight value that is represented by a width of four pixels is always displayed using four pixels regardless of how far you zoom in.
3) In a paper space layout, lineweights are displayed using real-world units, and lineweight display changes with the zoom factor.
4) By default, lineweights are plotted with the exact width of the assigned lineweight value.

No, you wouldn't have this problem.

In AutoCAD for Windows in Model, you will not see switching of lineweight visibility during zooming with mouse wheel.
