Mac with Civil 3D and remote desktop
Do you use remote desktop with a Mac for Civil 3d?
Can you recommend which Mac notebook is best for this purpose?

1) So your Mac-notebook will remote into an existing Windows Desktop capable of running C3D on large single/dual-screen monitors at the office?
2) Is this an occasional or travel/onsite need? Or are you permanently remoting out of the office?
3) Is your notebook going to do it all on it's small screen? Or will you be adding screens to it?
TIA

I suggest you ask in the C3D forum for tips/pitfalls to avoid about running C3D remotely over RDP or VPN, explain your office setup, but seriously gloss over the fact that you want to use a Mac at home (they will get distracted by that alone), and learn from other users doing that remote-in thing.
Then you and your IT review that feedback together and decide the best approach: MacOS is not going to be your limiting factor IMHO, just your teeny tiny little screen and the connections to the office.
