Using dynamic blocks I can't create a lookup table using a Mac, but can I edit one?
Is there a bolt-on app which might work?

No, you cannot edit lookup table in Dynamic Block, created in AC for Windows.
You can only use ready-made Dynamic Block block on Mac side.
