monochrome.stb for Mac not working

Hi, I'm new to Autocad. I've looked into tutorial videos and everything but I can't solve my problem. When I try to print in monochrome, it just prints in color. I have Autocad 2019 for Mac. I also attached the .dwg. Thanks

Hi @Anonymous ,

In order to be able to print in B&W with monochrome.stb, you need to assign "Style 1" Plot style to all layers in your drawing:

Try to print attached DWG.

Hi @maxim_k ,

I don't see the column that you see in your Layers window. Is it called "window" or what's the proper name? Why does it show on your screen and not in mine? How do I add that column to my setup?

Thank you

Hi Dario,

1. Right-click on the Layers list caption area

2. And select Plot Style column to display it

@maxim_k   Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply. You resolved the issue.

By the way, this issue occurred because when starting Autocad I had selected the "acadISO - Named Plot Styles.dwt" option. If I select another option like "acadiso.dwt" this issue doesn't occur.

Yes, in AutoCAD you can use two different types of Plot Style tables: color-dependent and named.
Most users (and me too) prefer to use Color-dependent plot style tables (CTB).
You can read more about Plot Style tables in AutoCAD here:

Thanks, do you know of any good free video tutorials/courses for Autocad for Mac? I found many online but it's hard to find good ones that explain things in a through manner.
