How to fill revolved area to make an .stl file for 3D printer

Hi guys,

Im making a drawing of a tube to be 3D printed in Autocad for MAC 2021.

I just can't find how to "fill" the drawing or to be able to export it as an .stl file.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Regards.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Create 3D Solid from "Region donut" with SWEEP command:

See attached DWG and STL

So I want to export my file to .stl, but it won't do it. i get the message in the prompt of Select solids or watertight meshes. Specify other corner. What am I missing here?

You need to select 3D Solid (s) you want to export by picking on them or by selecting them with window (crossing window). After you select them all, just hit Return two times - you will be prompted to specify STL file name and location.
