How do I transfer topography lines from google earth to AutoCAD for Mac?

Hi there,

I have found a plethora of videos on youtube with the process to transfer topography information from google earth to Autocad, but they are all for non-mac Autocad. Has anyone been able to find a way to get topography lines into Autocad?

Thanks!

Hi user,

AutoCAD for Mac doesn't have the feature for Geo-location. So if you think it is very important for your workflow. Please raise a topic in:

One method that should work is to loop through QGIS which has a Mac version.  You could make a KML file in Google Earth, open that in QGIS, and export it to DXF which you should be able to insert into AutoCAD Mac.
