How is AutoCAD on a Mac?
I'm looking into recommending my dad a MacBook Pro for his work. He's been using an old Sony VAIO for years and it's on its last leg.
He's an architect so he does 2D drafting on it. Will there be much of a difference from Windows if at all?
Thanks all.

Otherwise stick with what is familiar to the old man, WindowsOS.

Autocad for Mac is not that much different than on PC at this point. For about 4 years it was garbage but for about the last 5 years it is equal in all main features . The main difference is PC vs Mac so it looks a little different but a week is all that's needed to feel comfortable now IMO. Thankfully its now and not 5 years ago then I wouldn't even have recommended Autocad for Mac. Works great on the new super fast M1 Macs too. Cant wait to see it run natively.
Thanks,
Russell
