Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous,

What specific font are you trying to install? Please share it's name.
You don't need to copy TTF font to autocad 2021 >> contents >> resources >> font folder, just install it to FontBook.
As about SHX font - yes, you can put it to the /Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2021/AutoCAD 2021.app/Contents/Resources/Fonts/shx folder.

How to correctly install TTF fonts is explained here https://support.apple.com/lt-lt/guide/font-book/fntbk1000/mac

What you stated you did was incorrect.

Then it is best if you restart your MAC if restarting AutoCAD did not show the font.

I'm afraid the problem is in TTF font itself.

The name contains . (dot) at the beginning of the name and macOS prevents installing such font. I believe the drawing you have was created in AutoCAD for Windows and in there is no problems with such font on PC side....

What kind of text do you have? Is it MTEXT or single line TEXT?

If it is MTEXT, you may need to change formatting for each text object by editing it in the drawing, or use AutoLISP to clear formatting from MTEXT in order to be able to change the font in texts.

That is because the name of the font saved in Text Style in AutoCAD doesn't match the name of the font you have on your Mac:

You need to change the S-TEXT1 style font to the one on your Mac and then manually edit each text line to apply the changes.
