FILLED TIC MARKS NOW OUTLINE

I'm working in a drawing using a dimstyle that has architectural tic marks at the end off the dimension lines. Until now those tic marks have been solid - now they are just an outline.

Apparently I've done something inadvertently to cause this to happen. I've checked that fillmode is set to 1. I've purged the drawing, saved it closed it and reopened it, I've restarted autocad, without results. I've opened other drawings and the tic mark is filled.

Does anyone know what is happening here?

Hi @rdkrapf

I think the point is that the direction of the current view is not perpendicular to the plane in which the dimensions and other objects in the drawing are located. Use the command PLAN to set orthographic view of the XY plane of current user coordinate system.

Command: PLAN
Enter an option [Current ucs/Ucs/World] <Current>: - hit Return here
Regenerating model.
Command:

This worked - although I don't understand why or how my drawing got that out of the standard view. The solution didn't work exactly as you described, but it led me to something that did. I haven't used that command before, so I tried some of the options after trying it as you specified. When I tried the 'world' option, the drawing regenerated and the tic marks were filled. Thanks for your answer, that something I NEVER would have thought of!
