That is because you used incorrect AutoLISP statement to remove Data Link.
It should be:
(dictremove (namedobjdict) "ACAD_DATALINK")
but not " [color = # ff0000] (dictremove (namedobjdict) "ACAD_DATALINK") [/ color]"

At first I have to mention that in order to be able to update Excel document from AutoCAD, you need to have Excel installed on your Windows machine, because you need to use Data Link feature.
At the same time it is possible to create new table in AutoCAD each time you change Dynamic blocks parameters (tube length) and then export this AutoCAD table to spreadsheet.
