Dear forum members.
I have the following problems that I would like to present to you:
1) I want to import a data sheet from Google Sheet into my AutoCAD 2021 drawing. This is not possible because I do not have Microsoft EXCEL installed on the Mac.
Therefore I turn my Sheet data into a PDF file, add this file to my AutoCAD drawing and it is just there.
No problem you would say.
Only if I plot the drawing now it prints everything except the inserted PDF file.
Of course I will first check whether the PDF file is on the wrong layer and therefore cannot be plotted.
This is not the case !
Let's try it in a different way:
If I insert the sheet data by selecting it in Google sheet and pasting it as text in AutoCAD, AutoCAD pastes all data from the columns together and you get 1 full text of data.
If you do this again per column of about 30 rows, the text in AutoCAD is not long enough and the lines no longer run evenly in the drawing.
2) I would like to make a (Dynamic) block of, for example, a sewer pipe and this data (about the entire drawing) should be placed in a Google sheet.
So if I draw 4 tubes of 6 meters with a certain diameter, they have to come back in the sheet. However, if I stretch a block to only 4 meters, this must also be indicated and adjusted in the sheet file.
Who can give me a guide on how I can handle this?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
John
