No MacTrim Command for Trimming with Boundary

I have to trim everything outside a circle, and the MacTrim command seems perfect, but it seems I don't have it and can't open it. I can get to it from the command line or the Tools panel - it's like it doesn't exist. Please help!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Nevenka,

>>>>MacTrim command

Not sure what about you are talking.

Do you mean EXTRIM command from Express Tools in AutoCAD for Windows?

If yes, then it is not available on Mac.

Hi Maxim,

What I am working with is a site plan, and I am trying to trim lines outside the circle I drew. It super exhausting to do it with the basic Trim command, and I have googled and stumbled upon a dialog that allows you to trim everything outside a boundary through the aforementioned MapTrim command (i misspelled it MacTrim). Thank you for helping!

MAPTRIM command available only in Civil 3D application and not on Mac, but only on PC.
I have found AutoLISP routine, which allows to trim everything inside / outside rectangle boundary, but it works only in AutoCAD 2021 for Mac (and later), because it uses DCL dialog.
Maybe it is positive to find something similar.

Hi @amandahgmartins ,

It was four years ago and unfortunately I can't remember where I saw this.

But what about EXTRIM? Have you tried it?

Hi Maxim. Thank you for everything. You are always saving me here.

EXTRIM shows as an Unknown command.

I love macOS. But AutocadMAC is killing me here.
