Hi Bertram,
Looks like you are using AutoCAD for Mac 2016 or earlier release.
What macOS do you have on your Mac?
Have you tried to relaunch AutoCAD - use QUIT command and launch AutoCAD again?
Another thing to try - Reset Palettes from Window menu.
