One key shortcut not working, doing undo instead

Hello everyone,

I'm a windows user but a friend who is a mac user said to me that she's having issues with one key shortcuts and the undo command on her autocad. I tryied to search any solution but can't find nothing about the problem.

She told me that probably made some kind of shortcut while working on keyobard and activated/deactivated any "undo" option or one key shortcut option that canceled all one key shortcut (having to write all the word to perform the command) and when she types the first letter of any command, it apears a little blue box with "undo" writen under the command line, and when she press enter, it undoes instead of performing the disired command.

Thankyou for helping me, i appreciate it  :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

Hi Edgar,

From your description I think she doesn't use Dynamic Input.
So there could be an issue with Autocomplete / Autocorrect settings.
Look at this screenshot:

Does she has the same settings?

i don't think so, even without dynamic input it is possible to enter one key shortcut such as "l" for line "m" for move! at least i tryed to turn off all those options that you showed me, in my windows autocad, and i still could use one key short cut commands. i don´t know if it is diferent in mac

she sent me this picture  when she asked me for help

What AutoCAD version she is using? And what macOS she has on her Mac?

I'm asking about AutoCAD and macOS versions, because I see that she has got 2016 or earlier AutoCAD for Mac version, which could be incompatible with macOS on her Mac.

I'm waiting for her reply. But she has been working with that autocad in that macOS for a while, it suddenly changed by accidentaly typing some kind of shortcut on the keyboard. Before that, she was working fine with no issues.

I'm afraid she updated macOS and after that the problem appeared.
If I'm wrong, she can try to Reset AutoCAD settings, but once again, she can Reset AutoCAD only if it is compatible with macOS she has.

i told her to do that but she custumized her workspace and she didn't know how o save the workspace settings when she did it. I'm not sure if saving workspace now will also save the problem and even after reseting autocad and restoring her workspace the problem will be there :cara_asombrada: and is out of question to restore the workspace manually :cara_con_lágrimas_de_alegría:

I see. There is no official option for restoring customizations after resetting, but during Reset AutoCAD creates an archive with all custom settings. As a last resort, she can use it. I can give instructions on how to do this. But once again, she can try with Reset only if AutoCAD is compatible with macOS.
