Hello, I am having an issue with a drawing file, I know its the drawing file as I do not have issues with new files from the template. When I open this specific file on AutoCAD MAC 2021 or 2020, it states im missing 1 shx file. It doesn't say what the file is, if I ignore I think it is causing issues with a future x-ref im using, if I specify and choose the Linetype.shx file from Autocad Mac 2021 support folder, or one from full Autocad on windows, still the same message, E transmitting does work. I am the original creator of the file, I have no idea why its popping up. However it doesn't seem to have an error message when opening the file on Autocad 2021 full for windows.
I have reinstalled my autocad for Mac, reset it and triple checked the support folders. file attached, any ideas? I believe there is a plan from the architect that has certain items, but they etransmited the file with the font options ticked.
In another point autocad Mac and xref-ing is slow, buggy and needs to be addressed!

It sounds like a MAC issue, there is a dedicated forum over here full of MAC users they might be able to help. As for the buggy behaviour, everyone here is a user just like yourself, if you want to leave feedback on the program in general then that is best done on the product feedback page, which is read by Autodesk employees.

Solved the issue by opening the file in full autocad for windows, ticking the transmit with fonts and copying those fonts into application support folder for autocad for Mac. I did not overwrite exiting files change gave them unique names, seems to have work. Perhaps Autocad need to have a look at this?
