MERGE OVARLAPPING HATCHES

Hi everybody,

I need to marge several overlapping transparent hatches and have no idea on how to do it.

In the picture attached I have 2 hatches on the left and I want the result to be the one hatch on the right.

Any ideas?

I'm using an AutoCad 2018 MAC.

Best,

Raf.

There is no merge-hatch ability in the program: erase and replace.

Thanks for the reply, but I think I can't do that manually. There are way too many...

Some LISP perhaps?

There sure are but I've not tested any of them in the MAC environment https://www.google.com/search?q=AUTOCAD+LISP+TO+MERGE+HATCHES

Hi Rafael,

Try attached AutoLISP file.

Command is HATCHMERGE.

I've loaded the LISP and run it; when I select the two and process I end up with no hatch remaining at all (not a merged one)

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous

Can you share sample drawing with hatches you cannot merge with AutoLISP routine?

Two larger ceiling hatches; once selected as part of actions for the LISP - they both disappear.

I think AutoLISP routine cannot merge hatches because they are too complex.
