Autocad 2021 - Having to regen all the time - graphic error

Having a graphic error with all my files, if I remove a line, or add a hatch, or update an xref, it leaves behind low poly versions of what ive deleted or the action ive done. If I regen it will disappear, but its getting quite distracting now ! Can some one help

Having MacBook Pro 16-inch (i7 model) Catalina 10.15.3, but don't see such problem.
Do you use external monitor?
Have you tried to switch to "Open GL Core Profile" in Graphics Engine settings in AutoCAD Preferences?

We have seen this issue on some specific mac models starting from macOS 10.15.4. It is likely to be graphics driver issue with Metal engine, and we are researching what we can do to fix it, or we have to escalate to Apple for a fix in the graphics driver in next OS update.

You can use the workaround below, to switch to OpenGL engine:

Click menu AutoCAD 2021 > preferences > in General tab, change the graphics engine from Metal to OpenGL. Then restart AutoCAD. The issue should be gone.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you relaunched AutoCAD after you changed settings?

Not sure why you still have such issues. After I changed Graphics Engine to OpenGL Core Profile I don't have any issues on my side.
What Mac model do you have? What macOS version do you have on your Mac?
Can you share screenshot of what you see in the drawing area?

I just bought a new MacBook Pro and having the same issues. I changed the Graphics Engine to OpenGL, restarted and still happening.  They disappear once I zoom in or out.
