Scripts not available in Autocad for Mac but fine in Autocad
In Autocad 2020 for Mac, I have students trying to run a script (.scr) and they cannot select the script once they type the SCRIPT command. The script file shows grey in their section window.
This works fine in Autocad 2020 on a PC.
Any ideas?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi Stephen,
I don't have such issue on my side.
In AutoCAD for Mac I use the same command for loading and executing scripts as in AC for PC.
After I call SCRIPT command, standard file selection window appears with .scr file format filter and I can select .scr file in it:
Yes, I have to say that in macOS Mojave and Catalina sometimes files matching filter are grayed out in such dialogs. Not sure is it a bug in AutoCAD or in macOS, but you still can select them in relevant dialogs for opening.

Hi Stephen,
Can you share the script file you meet the error?
I guess it may related to the file path or something which related to the OS difference.
Thanks,
Leaf

Seems the renaming process used by the student(s) was scriptname.txt to scriptname.scr ... but ... ended up as scriptname.scr.txt ...
