When I copyclip (CTRL+C) and pasteclip (CTRL+V), the pasted object is Mtext of the clipped object (best I can guess). This problem hasn't happened before, and the only thing that's changed is that I connected my Macbook to a separate Mac monitor to get work done. I disconnected my laptop from the monitor, and copyclip/pasteclip worked again. Then I restarted my laptop and now it doesn't work on the laptop or the monitor. Currently running AutoCAD 2018 for Mac on OS 10.11.6. See an example below where I tried to copyclip the ceiling fan which is a block. All that got pasted was the Mtext in green. Is there a setting I need to update?

I figured out the problem. I started using a remote access program recently which I just found out doesn't support copying and pasting images between machines. It turns out it also messes up copying images (or in this case AutoCAD blocks/lines/shapes) on local files while the remote access program is logged into another computer. My solution for now is to close the remote access program when I need to work in AutoCAD, and it goes back to working perfectly.
