Reference files not found
It is for a simple *.jpg file attached to a client border.
How can I make this file show-up and NOT get the reference warning?
What am I missing?

OLE objects (which are not references) do not display on MACs.
I suspect the missing reference message is referring to something different. Click on "open the external references palette" to see what it's looking for. Place this file in the same location as the DWG and reopen.

Hi Jack,
As @rkmcswain mentioned in his reply the case is not in OLE object, which cannot be displayed on Mac in any case, but in externally referenced image. You need to open External References palette and look for an alert in it. Most likely AutoCAD cannot find the external reference (image file) in the saved path. You have to adjust this path manually on Mac side, or use "Mac and Windows server path mapping" feature to allow AutoCAD to find the image file on server.
