Is there a command to hide xref text styles from the Text Style drop-down emnu in the Properties palette?

What version of AutoCAD are you using as shown in ABOUT command? Not sure I've ever seen that as I look in top files with many XREFs in them, unless you just simply mean your XREFs have text style names you'd never use.

Hi Bret,
It is a bug in AC for Mac - they (xref text and dimension styles) should not be visible in dropdown list in the Properties palette.
But they are visible because of that bug and you cannot hide them.
