I already looked at your drawing and had no problems with editing text in it.
But I have to say - I don't have all of the fonts you use in the drawing. Here is what I see when I open your file:
Substituting [simplex.shx] for [Graphite Light ATT].
Substituting [simplex.shx] for [Century Gothic].
Substituting [simplex.shx] for [Arabic Transparent].
Substituting [simplex.shx] for [Century Gothic].
Not sure, but maybe the case is in specific font, which is used in texts in the problem drawing.
Do you have the issue with only one drawing?
What if you create new drawing, add some text objects to it with default text style and try to edit them?
