Hi,
I'm very new to using AutoCad, and I am currently using it to complete an assessment at school.
I have been given a DWG file, where we have to add a design into a pre-existing venue. I made a set design in a layer and went to the layout that was already in the file to export it as a PDF, however when I exported it, it seemed that the layers that I made had all duplicated and created an offset of the entire layer, but all other layers remained as they looked like in the model. I don't know how to remove the duplicate from the layers I've created, and can't seem to find any information online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Samuel.
Can you illustrate the problem with screenshots or, better, attach drawing in question here? I can look at it.

What do you see in the Properties Inspector - the topmost dropdown list, where AutoCAD shows type and quantity of selected objects. Are there two (2) or one dimension object?

When using the crossover window to select the 4000 dimension, there is one dimension object selected.

I received your drawing.
You have two viewports in the layout one above other: I marked they borders in the attached drawing. That is why you have «duplicate» effect. Delete (ERASE) one of viewports (you can select viewport by clicking on its border) and everything will look fine.
