Dotted line - weight and scale

Dear Autodesk community,

I have two files containing dotted lines, one in 2D and the other in 3D. In both cases when I preview them, the dotted lines appear thin and there is to much distance between the dots. I use AutoCAD 2017 and tried both to scale and increase the weight of the line.

I attach both files, 2D and 3D, in which the line name is "AUX_Punteado", and the printed files in order to see the end result.

Hi Alvaro,

I set lineweight property for "AUX_Punteado" layer to .35 mm, then set livetype scale for all objects on "AUX_Punteado" layer to 10 (instead of 1), plus in 3D drawing I changed global scale factor to 1.

Look at the results in attachment. (I don't have your custom plot style table at hand, so I saved to pdf as it is)

Dear Maxim,

As always thank you for your early replay. Although the results you obtained are the ones I'm looking for, I've been unable to reproduce them. Maybe the problem also relays on my plot style. Would you mind using it to verify if it is correct?

Hi Alvaro,

You are using one of the printer installed on your Mac for creating PDF (actually it uses macOS Quartz PDFContext engine). That is why you get such results with current CTB settings.

Try to use Batch Publish to PDF with AutoCAD PDF preset, you should get the results you want (see attachment)
