Dear AutoDesk community,
I'm trying to print a document that has a hatch with transparency, but there's a difference between the preview on the screen and the result, see attached documents. I use AutoCAD 2017 for Mac, the hatch consists of a linear gradient with two Pantone colors with transparency at 60% and on the page's set up the "Print transparency" box is checked.
Looking forward to hearing your answers receive my regards,
Alvaro

Hi Alvaro,
I think the case is in plotter software you are using to create PDF from your drawing - HP DeskJet 6980 series as I see from Page setup.
I've tried to save to PDF on my Mac using two different ways: one with Gutenprint driver (http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php) - Hatch - Plot-Gutenprint.pdf
and another way - using Batch Publish feature (AutoCAD PDF driver) - Batch publish.pdf
You see the results are different.
Plus I don't have plot style table assigned in your page setup, but I think it shouldn't affect color of the hatch.
So you need to try another printing device for PDF output.
