Copy/paste a group from one file to another issue.

Hello, trying to copy/paste groups from one file to another results in the groups being pasted to the new file ungrouped. Anyone knows why and how i can fix this ?

Hi,

This is "by design".
You can try my AutoLISP routine (see attached).
APPLOAD "Paste_as_group.lsp" and use PASTEASGROUP command to paste from clipboard as group.

... or change them to BLOCKs instead of groups since it appears your need is to move content between DWG files, which is what blocks are est used for.
