Dimensions and annotations scale.

Hello Forum,

I must have done something in the settings because my dimensions / blocks are acting strange. Attached are reference images of what happens.

The first image: In model space when i select a dimension its scale enlarges and when deselected it goes back to normal again.

The second image:

If you notice there is a door block in brown that after i change the paper space view port scale to 1:4 for example becomes much larger than it should and dimensions as well become very large. There are several other block in the drawing that do not get enlarged when i change the view port scale and remain the same. Could anyone guide me to what is the setting causing this for this one door block so i can amend it to remain the same scale when i change the view port scale like the others remain the same?

I am sure it has something to do with annotations, which i am still learning about.

Best to all the member of the forum.

Hi

Looks like your current dimension style is Annotative, if you don't need ut to be Annotative, then go to Dim style properties -> Fit tab -> "Scale for dimension features" -> uncheck "Annotative". To remove annotative property from existing dimensions - select dimension and uncheck "Annotative" in "Annotation scaling" section in Properties palette.

The door block also seems to has annotative property enabled - check this block by opening it in Block Editor and looking in "Block" section in Properties palette.
