Unable to download AutoCAD 2016 for Mac

Hello,

I am trying to download AutoCAD 2016 for Mac on my MacBookAir. This error message appeared: "Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 for Mac can only be installed on System drive formatted with Journaled HFS+ (Mac OS Extended Journaled) file system." The format I have is APFS (Encrypted). I am not sure what the problem is. Thank you!

Hi Kenny,

AutoCAD 2016 for Mac is not compatible with APFS file system and macOS Mojave.

You can use 2017.3 version:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...

or 2018.2 version:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...

or, better, 2019 (current) version.

Here are AC 2019 for Mac system requirements:

So you need Macbook Air 2.1 or later with minimum 4 Gb RAM (I think 8 Gb is the best option)
