Data Link not showing up after insertion in 2019 MAC AUTOCAD LT
I've loaded 3 previous excel links into the same file, which show up fine. When I try to load in another excel spreadsheet, the dialog box with shows up fine to load but then the window to place doesn't appear. Looks like the command didn't work or go through.... But when i look in the xref dialog box.. the excel file i just tried to link in shows up but with a "!" .. not sure why this is happening . Please help.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi Hyesun,
Could be something wrong with the path to the last file you are trying to link - AutoCAD cannot find it for some reason. Maybe the problem is in file naming (or path+file naming).
Where is the Excel file you are trying to attach? Is it on local or on network drive?

Hi Maxim,
It's loading from a shared dropbox file, attached below. I think it might actually be the excel file because I just tested another schedule link in a different file and it loaded fine. But the minute I tried to load this one in …. The cursor won’t change to place… although the dialog box and presets seem fine.

You are not sure it is Excel file?
Try to open it in Excel (or in Numbers, if you don't have Excel)
Try to put it to another location, say somewhere on the local drive and test.
