Hi Bret,

When you edit scale list in AutoCAD Preferences you edit default scales for non-templates files:2019-02-06_21-25-30.png

aka - the default list of scales stored in the "registry" (plist file on Mac).

Scale list is stored in each drawing separately, so if yo want to have your own default scale list in each drawing you create, you need to edit scale list in the Template drawing you are using to create new drawings. You use SCALELISTEDIT command for this.

Open Template, edit scale list in it, save template - now all scales you need will be at hand in the new drawing.

You can also edit the default scale list in AutoCAD Preferences, then you will be able to reset scales in all your existing drawings:

- edit default scale list in AutoCAD Preferences (add or remove scales)

- open existing drawing, call SCALELISTEDIT command

- use "gear" button to select "Reset" option:

- select which scale list(s) you want to reset:2019-02-06_21-37-10.png

- now you have all your scales in the current drawing
