Layer colors change
I am running Autocad 2019 Mac Education Version. When I set different layers and then draw different objects on different layers (in different colors) the entire drawing changes all objects to the color of that layer. For example, if I draw a blue circle in a layer called "circles", then draw a red rectangle in the layer called "red" the blue circle will also turn red. The same happens if I again click on the 'Circle " layer the red rectangle turns blue. What am I doing wrong or do I have something turned off?

Hi Robert,
>>>What am I doing wrong or do I have something turned off?
Looks like you select another layer from Layers list when the object is selected in the drawing area.
In order to change current layer you have to deselect everything in the drawing area, then use Layers palette to switch to another layer.
