Program will Not Run Due to Inaccessibility to Folders on my Computer

Suddenly in the last few days I am not able to open AutoCAD due to an error that states "Folders on your computer that AutoCAD needs access to are not available. AutoCAD cannot run until folder permission issues are resolved."  Can anyone shed some light on how I can resolve this issue and also why CAD needs access to folders in order to open?

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you still experiencing this problem?  It sounds like you are running AutoCAD for Mac which means the easy fix is to simply uninstall and then reinstall AutoCAD.  This problem occurs sometimes after an OS upgrade.

If you are on a Windows computer, please give me the exact error message so i can help.
