Mac Cad and GIS data 2019 version

Good evening,

I have a couple of questions before I upgrade. I have High Sierra and Mac-cad 2017. Which works well. I just saw on the internet that cad 2019 can import GIS data. Which would be very nice since GIS data doesn't play well with mac. However, before I upgrade should I download Mojave? Does Mojave work with mac-cad 18? mac-cad19? Does mac-cad19 allow for GIS data imports?

Thanks! Happy New Year everyone!

Hi Tricia,

AutoCAD for Mac cannot import GIS data, there is no such feature in it.
As about compatibility - on Mojave you can use:
- 2017 version with Update 3 - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...

- 2018 version with Update 2 - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...

and 2019 version OOTB
