How to stop a model-regenerating while textedit

please how can i turn off regenerating the model when i want to write in acad? it is rotating the whole screen while i am editing text written verticaly.

Hi

You need to set system variable MTEXTFIXED=2.

At the command prompt type MTEXTFIXED and hit return, then type 2 and hit Return again:

Command: MTEXTFIXED
Enter new value for MTEXTFIXED <1>: 2
Command:
