cant install autoCad lt 2019 after apple laptop software upgrade.

hi all,  i was using autocad LT trial version just a couple days ago.  i decided to buy the subscription for one year.  i uploaded the new file to computer and opened it on apple computer.  on same day of purchase, apple computer indicated there was a software upgrade available for computer.  i hit the upgrade button and all looked well.  next day i tried to open autocad lt and it wont open program.  is this happening to other Mac users who upgraded to latest apple software?  is there a fix?

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you're posting for the first time. Welcome to the Autodesk Community, and thank you for posting your question here in the AutoCAD for Mac forum.

It sounds like you need to install the latest updates for AutoCAD for Mac LT 2018. It restores compatibility with the Mojave OS update. You can download it here: AutoCAD LT for Mac 2018.2 Update

Hi thank you for reply. I downloaded the cad update however the update does not solve the issue since I do not have the cad program installed. It says I have to install first then apply update. This is the message I get when I try to install the cad program Installer quit unexpectedly while using the UICustomizer plug-in.

Hi Guillerm,

Looks like you installed another AutoCAD for Mac version - not 2018. So you need to uninsrall it at first with Remove AutoCAD application, which you can find in Autodesk ->AutoCAD (your version number) folder.
Then you need to use full installer from here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...

And install AutoCAD again.
