Hi @Anonymous,

Have you tried using the PLOTSTYLE command and clicking "Import..." in the drop down menu? It should do the same thing as copying the .ctb into the Printer Support File Path folder, but importing may prompt it to actually adopt the plot style settings. 

You could also try resetting to defaults on the workstation in question, to zero out any edited plot-related settings. Also, check that the workstation is current with the latest AutoCAD for Mac updates.
