High Sierra not compatible with AutoCad for Mac (free trial)

I have just updated my Mac to High Sierra and can now no longer access AutoCad on trial. I still have 22 days left of the trial and when trying to open the program or a file to work on it says that the files are not available for AutoCad and that it needs to get permission from folder to access.

The new installation probably made some folders different permissions and now autocad can't use them. I'm just guessing though. There are actually dedicated Autocad for MAC forums. I'd try there to get better answers or the easiest way to fix it.  A forum search on that board might get you a quick answer. I'm sure others have had similar issues. There are also Installation Forums and a search there might get you an answer as well.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

OS updates have been known to cause this issue. I suggest that you remove and then reinstall the Trial and I believe everything will perform normally for you.

Actually, watch out for a different issue with High Sierra - sleep wake function. There is a major bug in the software and you're computer will just re-start after sleep mode - and act strangely. My 2017 CAD works fine with HS.
