HOW TO DISPLAY THE DEFAULT LINEWEIGHT ASSIGNED TO A LAYER

FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DISPLAY THE LINEWEIGHT ACTUALLY ASSIGNED TO A LAYER WHEN IT IS IDENTIFIED AS THE DEFAULT SETTING OF THAT LAYER. IS THERE A BASIC LIST WHERE ALL THE DEFAULT PEN SETTINGS ARE ACTUALLY SPECIFIED?

I COULD NOT FIND A STRAIGHTFORWARD ANSWER IN THE WRITTEN AUTOCAD HELP.

WHAT AM I MISSING?

THANKS TO THE GROUP...

Hi Maxim--

Thank you kindly for your reply.

Indeed I did already have that display function selected.

What I cannot seem to figure out is how to reveal what the default setting for a given layer is, when it is flagged "DEFAULT." I would have expected a check mark on the pull down somewhere. Just for reference. See attached.

By default does this mean a system-wide default? Where do I see this?

Sorry to be so thick. I've spent most of my career using Vectoworks.  : (

Kind regards.

Bill

To set (check) the Default lineweight use menu Format -> Lineweight

Then set default lineweight here:2018-07-05_12-06-51.png
