Black and White grid appears when scrolling with cursor

5-31-18

When I scroll with my cursor I am seeing a ghost like image of a 'black and white grid' that follows the cursor. Part of the grid remains as the cursor is moved, but disappears after regenall. It then reappears when the cursor is moved again.

Attached is a screen shot. Any idea how to stop this trailing grid from appearing?

Thanks for any help.

Hi All,

So I am curious. If I continue to use this software, 'Autocad for Mac', I need to know the best resource to answer questions regarding performance issues. What are your favorite blogs or support groups to answer your technical questions? Maybe this is the best one out there, but as of today I still in need to get an answer to my question.

Sure would like to know your opinion.

Thanks

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Michael,

Can you specify your Mac model, AutoCAD version and macOS version installed on your Mac?

Thanks for the reply. It is a MacBook Pro 13”, running Autocad 2018LT, and the OS is El Capitan Ver 10.11.6. The processor is a 2.4 Ghz, with 8 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3.

Is there any other information that you may need that would be helpful?

Thanks for your help.

I'm not absolutely sure, but maybe you need to upgrade macOS on your Mac.

I've seen here on the Forum similar situation (with AutoCAD 2018 for Mac running on Sierra) and the problem was solved by updating to High Sierra.

Once again - I'm not absolutely sure.

Thank you for your quick response. I will update my OS and see if that helps.

Have a great day.
