Hello - I am familiar with the system requirements for AutoCAD for Mac and have been running on a MacBookPro with 2.3 GhZ i7 64 bit and 16 GB RAM for a year or so.
I am wondering if I can expect significantly BETTER performance on a desktop Mac Pro?
The biggest software problem I run into is: crashing and/or significant delays when editing blocks after prolonged program use.
Is that a software issue or an issue that can be resolved by buying a more powerful machine? I seem to have no other functionality problems on my MacBookPro other than not being able to run multiple graphic programs at once.
Also: Would I be better off just buying a workstation PC and working on PC Autodesk?
Thanks for your help!

I'm afraid that changing hardware to Mac Pro desktop wouldn't resolve your problems with AutoCAD for Mac.
Have you tried to work with your drawings in AutoCAD for PC for some long period? If yes - do you have the same problems on windows side?

Thanks for your answer, Maxim!
I will give it a go on a PC to see what difference it makes.
