unable to modify dimensions !!
hey all...
I am using auto cad 2018 on my Mac. I am trying to edit the dimensions of my drawings which I have made mistakenly but I am unable to do so. I have been using windows platform earlier and could modify easily by double clicking the dimensions but I don't know about Mac. could you help me to do so? I have attached a pic and file of simple box. let me know how to change 19 to 20 and 10 to 15. I am asking it in simple drawing so that I could change finally in my project files.
thanks
vishal

Hi @Anonymous,
If you open (modify) the Standard Dimstyle, and set the precision to 0, is that correcting the value the way you want?

HI @vshlkumar063,
Your dimensions are associated with the geometry of the box. You can use Stretch to change the size of the box and the dimensions should update automatically.
If you want to override the text in the dimension, simply double-click the text and then type in the new value.
Please see this video to see the action.

Hi Vishal,
Most likely you cannot modify dimension text by double-clicking on it because of the incorrect PICKFIRST System variable value.
Try to set it to 1. At the command prompt type PICKFIRST, hit Return, then type 1 and hit return again:
Command: PICKFIRST Enter new value for PICKFIRST <0>: 1 Command:
Now try to edit dim text by double-clicking on it.
