I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

 

 I suggest exiting AutoCAD and then emptying the Windows Temp folder (type %temp% on the Windows run line to open the location in Windows Explorer)to clear the contents. This should clear the clipboard and hopefully  fix your copy/paste problem.

 

Please also try running an AUDIT and PURGE on your drawing file.
