Hello
Whenever a file from AutoCAD on Windows opens up on AutoCAD for Mac (I exported a file from Civil 3D to AutoCAD on Windown), the grading that was done on Civil 3D was not showing up properly. There were squares on the AutoCAD for Mac file, instead of the grading that there is supposed to be. I hit REGEN a few times on the Mac, and it was not working at all.
Is there anyway to fix it or is there a bug? Thank you

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi Zain,
It is not a bug.
AutoCAD for Mac cannot show Civil 3D specific objects and there is no object enablers for AutoCAD for Mac.
So you need to use EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command in Civil 3D:
to create DWG file with exploded Civil 3D objects, then you will be able to see and edit them in AutoCAD for Mac.
Maxim

Hi Maxim,
Is this situation still the same? I receive a lot of files from civil engineers and sometimes a portion of their drawings done in Civil3d (always the storm drains, water and sewer lines) do not show up in both Autocad 2023 for mac or Autocad LT 2023 for mac.
Has this been revised in the past 5 years since your comment? Or do they still have to either explode the content or use the EXPORTAUTOCAD command?
Thanks

The situation is the same - no Civil 3D object enablers for AutoCAD forMac.
