CAD Macros being deleted after 8

Hello All

I've been making custom macros for my office to help with drafting speed (too many people on LT to use LISP) and I'm having an issue where my macros are getting deleted. It seems as if I can only have 8 macros saved at a time, is this a normal feature or an issue? anyone know any workarounds?

Regards

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Aidan,

Looks like this is a bug in AutoCAD for Mac. Would be resolved with next update.
BTW, do you use spaces in macros (custom commansds), when you create them in CUI editor? If yes, then try do not use spaces and look at the results. Are you able to add more then 8 macros?

Hi Maksim

That's unfortunate. I do use spaces in my macro titles, I tried removing them just now but it didn't fix anything. I suppose my only option is to wait for some future update. Are you aware if this is this resolved in 2018 / 19 (I am still on 2017)?

Not sure about 2017, but in 2018 - should.

Hello again

Just installed 2018 and no dice. I decided to check this out on my neighbours computer (he's on 2018 as well, but the lt version) and he has no issue with extra macros.
