Good Afternoon Forum,
I have an existing title block with 8 attributes within it; Date, Scale, DWG name etc.
Im trying to add another one to the list, DWG Ref. However when I go into block editor and add the new attribute then save the block, the new attribute doesn't appear either in the block or in the enhanced attribute editor.
Can anyone help?
Im using AutoCAD for Mac 2015 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Let me know if you need any files or screenshots.

Hi @twhitwell6,
After you have edited your block, use ATTSYNC or BATTMAN to have it update to the new definition. If you are unsuccessful, you can attach your drawing with the existing block inserted along with the new definition. I can make a quick video that shows the steps if you like.
Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

After adding (or even after changing) attribute definition in Block editor you need to sync changes with BATTMAN command:
http://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2018/ENU/index.html?guid=GUID-4920952B-6809-49E7-956E-C6A94BEA6...
After you pick "Synchronize block" button and confirm changes, the new attribute will appear in all block insertions.

Brilliant, Ive managed to add the new attribute to my layout template.
Is there a way of having the date attribute within my title block updating automatically to todays date?

Yes, you can create attribute definition with FIELD as default value.
I'd recommend you use "SaveDate" field:
as it will update the value of the attribute on each save, while "Date" field will not be updated unless you will use UPDATEFIELD command to update it manually.
