Do not understand how to control my annotative text .....

Hello again,

Im having major problems with my annotative text due to the fact that I don't understand it.

I currently have all my text annotative with a scale of 1:50. However from what I understand that means I can only view my text in paper space if my viewport is set to 1:50

In the properties inspector under annotative scale, i have all my scales showing. But my text still disappears when I change scale in my viewport.

Please can someone explain what is going on. Let me know if you would like my file.

Thank you

You set the final printed size of the text you want to see for printing: pick your text style, check the annotative box, set the final printed size. Popular sizes are 3/32" or 2.5mm

In some files, for some reason, setting the viewport scale to 1:1 then back to a target scale fixes the annotative text display.
If not, the text being displayed is not actually annotative.

Ok, I think ive got that. Thank you so much for your help Pendean.

I think theres something wrong with my CAD

I have made 3 different text styles: Headings at 5mm, Text at 3mm and Notes at 2mm. For some reason all the text set to the Text style is still appearing at 5mm. Ive checked the settings, something must be over riding it.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Can you share the DWG file here? It might be easier if others can touch your file.

Thanks for the file: I see your different text sizes in your Ground FL and First FL tabs in the file.
