I prepared a new title block in Mac AutoCAD in which I inserted an image using raster image reference. When I tried to bind the image, it failed. Please let me know if it is possible to bind images in Mac AutoCAD.
I have tried e-transmit but it is not a good practice to send a bunch of files with each drawing.

No it is not possible on Mac, because OLE is platform dependent feature and not available in macOS.

Hi @Anonymous,
I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
As Maxim indicted, this functionality is not available on the Mac as the technology used to do this on the Windows side (OLE) does not function on a Mac. That is why Package (eTransmit) is available to ensure all the necessary files get included when sharing the data.
Can you tell me what is in the raster image? Is it something that might be better converted to a vector format?

I have tried converting a rater complicated jpeg picture as a vector image and it never goes well... so I am tracing it by hand. But, because I can't make the jpeg part of autocad, I can't change it's location on my computer (path, yes?) AND it often causes autocad 2018 for mac to crash, and then reopening the file, which is now locked is a massive, massive pain... and takes far too much time. =(
